How will you make an impact?
This is an independent marketing manager role with responsibility for driving effective marketing for the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division in the Emerging Markets (EM).
If you excel in teamwork then this role would be a great fit as, you will collaborate and support our channel partners and sales teams with regionally relevant and customer-centric marketing and sales support tools to grow emerging markets. Your work will help to build and profile new customer contacts, generate new leads and support customer dedication.
Flexibility to travel (up to 30% travel) in EMEA and occasionally Worldwide is also needed.
Please note this is a 6 month contract initially with the view to extend a further 6 months.
What will you do?
Develop shorter-term (1 year) and long-term (2-5 years) marketing plans and work with customers to understand market trends and drive market performance.
- Build standard and management dashboards to assess performance and use these to improve marketing efficiency by adopting continuous improvement methods with our PPI (Practical Process Improvement) process.
Improve on the return on investment through close oversight of the EM marketing budget, which will require working with EMEA regional marketing partners, global product marketing and marketing program managers to select the most appropriate marketing content for each EM country.
Use appropriate adaptations, translations and communication channels, you will ensure that your marketing resonates well with regional audiences.
Using an omni-channel approach, with digital, e-Business and customer events to drive growth
Preparing and presenting at business reviews and marketing reviews will be an important part of the role.
Being a point of contact for local customer expertise, to help develop opportunities, product positioning, value proposition and new commercial materials for new and existing products.
How will you get here?
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, STEM or equivalent is preferred
Demonstrate experience in marketing in a science or technology field
Worked in global, highly matrixed, multicultural organization
Experience planning, executing, and measuring against goals
Collaborative approach in every aspect of work
Experience working within the EMEA region would be useful (ideally, Russia, Middle East, Africa)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Multi-lingual (English + any of Russian, French, German or Arabic would be beneficial)
Proficient in: Market/competitive analysis, VOC, new market entry, lifecycle management, positioning, pricing, product roadmaps and go to market strategies
Environmental regulatory trends
Apply outstanding commercial skills and eye for business; an ability to recognize growth opportunities and capitalize on them
